The Cranchi EcoTrawler range has been developed as a modern reinterpretation of the classic trawler: Modern lines combined with an efficient displacement hull. Electrical power for extended stays at anchor is provided by a 416Wp Solbianflex SP series solar array.
Integrated into the forward section of the flybridge, these panels are virtually always exposed to optimal sunlight, allowing them to perform to their full potential. The invisible and watertight cables led below the solar system into the ship ensure a visually appealing and technically ideal integration.
The system can be fully walked on, the smooth surface ensures that it cleans itself during rain. Dirt is unable to adhere to the surface made of ECTFE – a resistant and dirt-repellent fluopolymer.
Instead of using four of our standard solar panels, a custom-made system with a higher output could be installed instead, using black laminate to match the lines of the roof.
416Wp deliver approx. 120-190Ah at 13V per day in summer, which is easily sufficient for the self-sufficient operation of the refrigerators, lighting and hi-fi system on board.
